FXEN

Post by dan_s »

FXEN was up 3% today. We had 72 members and guests at our luncheon on March 31. If you don't think the exposure we give small-caps makes a difference, take a look at how FXEN traded today. Tom Lovejoy, the FXEN Chairman started speaking at 12:30 and the share price started moving higher. It was the top preforming Sweet 16 stock today!

Our next luncheon is set for Thursday, April 21. Cross Border Resources (XBOR) is hosting.

Tudor Pickering Holt note on FXEN. The research firm Tudor Pickering Holt in their daily commentary today mentioned LSGI portfolio holding FX Energy (FXEN):

· FX Energy ops update (FXEN US - $8.05 - NR- $414mm) - Gas focused FX announces plans to drill first tight gas well (Plawce-2 -125Bcfe) in Poland. Siekierki Plawce tight gas was discovered in 1970-1980 with a series of wells encountering tight sandstone (100m column). Aurelian (AUL LN - NR) has recently drilled two successful wells which flowed 7 and 17mmcf/d respectively in the region testing the same play concept. Biggest game changer will be company’s results on huge conventional prospect... Kunto-2 with up to 19 TCF gas initially in place.

FXEN presents at a luncheon in Houston next week. We will make introductory comments on the energy sector prior to their presentation. The company is in the process to testing a wellbore in North Dakota for potential in the Bakken and Three Forks oil bearing formations. They have acreage held by production from other formations – and if the test is positive expect development plans to be announced this summer.
