considering that most tax loss selling is still ahead of us, I wonder whether we will not see further disconnect between the price of oil and gas and that of oil&gas stocks.
so regardless of current valuations, I wonder whether it is not yet too early for buying (back) into the sector.

problem is, they will probably see no reason to maintain such a high dividend... cutting it down to 50%, the annual yield was still high and they could reduce debt or increase spending... but this would likely drive the share price down even more...

I think costs for the TMS wells are of great interest to a lot of people... if (IF!) the TMS can be exploited at good cost, Halcon, Goodrich and Sanchez were incredible bargains right now... but if TMS oil is only economic when oil is at $90...

- I used the low share price to start a small position in Awilco and will likely buy more in the USD 17-18 range... - North Atlantic Drilling has also become interesting again, imo, but I watch the US/EU vs Russia situation and will only start a position once it calms down... - I would be interested...

Thanks, Dan. I've already started a small position some weeks ago and wait for an entry point to possibly buy some more. However, I decreased my Lightstream position substantially, because I doubt that with so many good properties on the market, Lightstream will be able to get reasonably good prices...

I fully agree - this is exactly what I tell my students since the late 1990s!
(besides that crude oil is way too precious to be (ab)used as a fuel and that LNG needs to be developed for that purpose)
