Re: Mid-Term Results: How Can Trump call it a victory?

At the time I studied political science, it was a surveyed conclusion that people purposely split their vote in the belief that they were aiding the separation of powers. I suspect the dumbing down of the electorate wouldn’t support that thesis anymore, but who knows. One thing is certain, we won’t ...

Re: Venezuela - Corruption at the top

Nothing yet on Ortega’s fate, but this came up—— “An international banker who catered to mega-rich Venezuelans was sentenced to 10 years in prison by a Miami federal judge Monday for his supporting role in a massive $1.2 billion money-laundering scheme involving stolen funds from Venezuela’s governm...

Re: Natural Gas Long-Term outlook is bright

I take it Japan has 30 terminals to receive LNG, because I don’t think they produce any. From the article—— “Today, there are 20 LNG and regasification terminals operating or under construction in North America, with another eleven approved for near-term construction. That’s a big change. Of course,...

Re: My Interests

I worked with a great guy from Bohemia which is somewhere in Getmany, I think He bought two new Corrolas years back for a bargain price and shipped one to his brother. He gave me the low down on what actually happens in Europe. Your auto insurance is based on the size of the engine and anything over...

Re: Oil Price - Feb 1

As stated elsewhere, “Incompetence has led to serious inefficiencies and accidents.” I think Venezuela expropriated oil operations from US oil companies and they don’t have the expertise to produce the oil efficiently and without degrading the fields. I read somewhere that ExxonMobile has thousand o...

One of my favorite stories reportedly to be true is about the Kindergarten teacher who gave her kids the assignment to write God a letter, and one little boy ended by asking, “How’s Jesus doing?”

Re: To all Saints Fans

Besides the hazard of injury, football suufers the hazard of poor officiating. Teams just can’t count on squeakers because of this factor. It’s definitely a downer, but life is often disappointing. It’s a good metaphor for life. A reality sandwich, I guess... a time to man up, if you will. In situat...

Re: Renewable Energy

During the 1970’s OPEC oil embargo the world was using 44 mb/d.
Since then world demand has increased 56 mb/d up to the present 101 mb/d.
I would like to hear these so-called scientists explain how they could have prevented that increase “if we had only gotten started earlier.”

Adapt 2030 is a YouTube channel devoted to the oncoming mini ice age scenario, predicted by our entering the Gran Solar Minimum cycle, which is marked by declining sun spot activity. The producer was an importer of coffee beans from Malaysia and the crops were going bad. He investigated and became c...

REV increased by 63% Cashflow per share (before CapEx) increased by 61% BOEPD increased by 21% All three are forecasted to remain flat for 2019 I don’t know how to figure out how much they spent on CapEx. I do know that cash flow is a very important metric, or one of the most important. In ordinary ...

EPG Newsletter

The layout, design & graphics of the DEC 24th newsletter are a work of art, I think. I’m a new member from Financial Sense and was stunned by it’s production values. I think this should be noted and called attention to by someone and probably has been by others. I think it could win a newsletter...

I have read quite a few posts and have no reason to doubt your analysis. My father was a WWII aviator with 2,200 hours in the logbook who who was a real estate appraiser for more than 40 years so I understand a lot about how things are evaluated. Art Berman is thought of highly by some CTAs I follow...

This is a lot to get your mind around...great report that I will have to re-read and reference. For historical contrast, I think I recall from previous research, that at the time of the 80’s OPEC oil embargoes the daily world oil consumption was 44 mb/d. I remember very distinctly watching Jimmy Car...

Shale oil field reserves are declining 30% / yr. and aren’t large enough to pay back the $250 billion borrowed and spent so far to develop them, according to Oil Geologist Art Berman. I think you know the import of that assessment if accurate. I wonder what your opinion is on the issue?
