Additional pull on North American gas supplies
Most of the gas "pull" on LNG focuses on US LNG plant startups during 2025 which is substantial, but not much discussion of the LNG Canada pull also starting up in the 2nd and 3rd quarters of 2025 which may reduce US import volumes from Canada. https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/us-st...

On some of these hot, calm days, wind power has gone very low. Texas installed wind power CAPACITY is about 40 GW. On a calm day, such as recently, afternoon output drops from the 40 GW capacity to as low as 5 GW. At the same time, solar ramps from 0 GW overnight to about 9 GW for about 7 hours. Did...

Reduction in per person and per country in energy use
Has the world come to grips with the Paris recommendation and others that a SIGNIFICANT reduction in total energy consumption requires a DRASTIC cut in energy use per person and per county. Has never happened over any 3 year period in world history. https://oilprice.com/Energy/Crude-Oil/A-Successful...

Re: EIA Weekly Petroleum Report - June 30
I wonder if comparisons to the 5 years 2015-2019 rather than 2016-2020 would be more stark. Given the incredibly high stocks of most of 2020 and lower consumption if comparisons to the 2015-2019 period might be more reflective of today's market and inventories.

June 17 Gas Storage Report
Did my eyes deceive or did gas storage only go up 16 BCF this week versus 65-85 BCF projection?
Imagine next week could show a bigger deficit?
Or do I misunderstand?
