Crude Oil Prices - September 29

Post by dan_s »

WTI closed over $94.50/bbl on September 29. As I have posted here many times, September is a "soft month" for oil demand. Demand for heating oil picks up with each week from now on.

Also reports coming in from Iraq indicate that our airstrikes are not slowing down ISIS and they seem more intent on moving into Southern Iraq.

"Isis fighters are reportedly just one mile away from Baghdad as reports emerge of al-Qaeda militants bolstering their ranks in Syria."
AccoAccording to the Foundation for Relief and Reconciliation in the Middle East, Isis was approaching the Iraqi capital on Monday morning.

"The Islamic State are now less than 2km away from entering Baghdad," a spokesperson said.

"They said it could never happen and now it almost has. Obama says he overestimated what the Iraqi Army could do. Well you only need to be here a very short while to know they (the U.S.) can do very very little."

IMO the real target for ISIS is the big oil fields in Southern Iraq. If Bagdad falls, those valuable assets are at risk and Saudi Arabia is next.

Remember, our media is not reporting the bad news from Iraq because it would make Obama look bad. What's really going on over there is much worse than we can imagine and it is likely to get a lot worse. I got a prayer request from one of our members with notes from two Christian missionaries. They report that ISIS is killing Christian children in front of their parents unless the whole family denounces Jesus. Jews do not even get the chance.
