Natural Gas Storage Report - October 23

Working gas in storage was 3,393 Bcf as of Friday, October 17, 2014, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 94 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 336 Bcf less than last year at this time and 338 Bcf below the 5-year average of 3,731 Bcf.

We will begin the winter heating season with ~250 Bcf less in storage than last year.
