Devon Energy Upgraded to BUY

Deutsche Bank has upgraded Devon Energy (DVN) to a BUY. Read why at link below.

"We view Devon Energy as particularly well positioned relative to the peer group of large-cap E&Ps. The asset transactions of 2014 served to reposition the portfolio to highlight underlying growth potential, high grade the portfolio towards fewer / key plays, and improved the cost of capital via the EnLink transaction. As we enter 2015, Devon Energy also benefits from a best in class hedge position and while our valuation framework excludes hedges (valued at 1x cash flow) the position should allow for a more orderly management of the downcycle at Devon Energy and the ability to maintain operating momentum."

I am amazed we don't hear more about Devon. This is a large upstream company with a lot going for it. - Dan
