Growth in U.S. oil supplies will end this year as drills go offline, the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries said Thursday.
U.S. oil supplies will rise to 13.65 million barrels per day in Q2 (this includes NGLs) before beginning to decline in the second half of the year, the oil cartel said in its monthly report. It expects non-OPEC oil supply this year to grow by 680,000 barrels per day, down from its earlier estimates of 850,000 barrels per day.

FYI: The United States consumes approximately 19.5 million barrels per day of crude oil and natural gas liquids. We need to import over 7 million barrels per day to meet our needs and we will ALWAYS be a net importer. My SWAG is that the U.S. will be importing over 8.5 million barrels of liquids per day by the end of next year. We are heading back to being even more dependent on OPEC, even as the region destabilizes.
