Parsley energy will be added to the Sweet 16 in the next newsletter.
BTE, BCEI and OAS (all of which are trading way below my valuation) will be dropped from the Sweet 16.
The Sweet 16 is a "growth" portfolio. I am looking closely at several companies that really impressed me at EnerCom. In addition to having more than 50% YOY production growth locked in for 2015, Parsley has some very good leasehold in the sweet spot of the Permian Basin. They are well positioned for several years of outstanding growth.

Dan,
if Jones were a larger company, would you have added Parsley or Jones to the Sweet 16?
Thx.

I like them both or I would not have added them to our growth portfolios.
As I point out in each newsletter: The small-caps have more risk, but they also have more upside. The small-caps are where you can get doubles, triples and home runs when the price of oil moves back up.
