relative production costs

Post by jim »

Dan (or anybody else): do you know of any source or sources that disclose a relative comparison of production costs across, say, your sweet 16, or perhaps even a larger segment of the E & P universe? hoping to avoid some heavy company by company lifting....

For the Sweet 16 the all-in cash expenses range from $8/boe to $15/boe. Lower for the gassers like RRC, which have a lot of flowing gas wells.

It is easy to determine for each company. Just go to the Sweet 16 tab, bring up the forecast model for the company, add up the cash expenses (which are clearly set out on the income statement) and divide by the production volume for the period (shown at the bottom of the spreadsheet).
