The active rig count for North America fell by just 1. Down 2 in the United States and Up 1 in Canada.

United States:
> Rigs drilling for oil stayed the same at 318 (a 70 year low), compared to 1,609 in October, 2014 and 659 a year ago.
> Rigs drilling for gas down 2 to 85, compared to 222 a year ago.

Canada only has 16 rigs drilling for oil and 27 drilling for gas.
