Articles like this, which condemn an entire sector, kill me.
The fact is that when the selling price of what an industry produces (or services they provide) is cut in half, that industry is in big trouble. That is what happened to upstream MLPs and to a lesser extent the midstream MLPs.
Yes, they do need access to capital to grow. What industry does not?
