Sweet 16 Update - Dec 3

Post by dan_s »

I just sent the Sweet 16 main spreadsheet to Jeff for posting to our website. It shows my current valuation for each company compared to the First Call price targets, which have not been updated by Reuters since the OPEC Agreement was announced. I'm sure the FC targets will be going up this month.

I will be sending out the next View From Houston newsletter tomorrow, so I will save my further comments for the newsletter.

The Sweet 16 gained 10.13% for the week ending December 2. Thank You OPEC!

Thanks for another great View. Question: You said the most recent well costs for CLR/well are $8.5mm. Do you recall approximately what well costs were (probably not in the brand new Scoop/Stack) prior to the oil crash?

Bullish Raymond James update out this morning on oil prices. They say $53 strip is way too low in light of trends.

Rinse, wash, repeat. Energy cycles are more fun on the way up.

CLR well costs on extended reach laterals (~2 miles) were ~$10.5 million.
