I hope you all had a good Christmas holiday. Susan & I went to Dallas to spend a couple of nights with my son and his lovely bride. It was warm enough that we got to sit in their hot tub both evenings. We also went to a Christmas Eve service at a church near their home that was uplifting. It was a very young church (or maybe I'm just getting old) and it was encouraging to see so many young families with kids at church.
Keep an eye on the weather in Chicago. They had one of the warmest days on record for 12/26, but it turns colder tomorrow and a lot colder around January 4th. The 15-day forecast for the U.S. is now bullish for natural gas. This Thursday's gas storage report should draw some attention. The next two storage reports will be near or below normal draws. Then we should see the gas storage level plunge.
January is shaping up to be a very interesting month.
