<<general market sell off?>> Risk is in play again. White House paranoia & incompetence has world markets spooked. Commodities down, partly because of weather. Dow's been toppy, Gold now up.

<<i hear europe is getting all the winter again>> Could be a perfect storm shaping up. More unnatural heat in N. America. Chilly Europe depending on Russia for gas (the war in Syria is partly about projected pipelines to Europe). So Putin keeps the heat on Europe while his American sweetheart is pursuing deflationary policies that freeze trade. Meanwhile many UK corps have hedged against Brexit, and as hedges run out, crunch time hits. Let's hope the hysteria in the WH and markets will run out of gas soon (!) and "natgas is bullish regardless of weather."

i don't think the hysteria is in the wh nor majority of americans, but in the hired mobs.

A number of large intl corps such as Starbucks complained that the WH immigration orders are disrupting their business plans, and global business commentators thought the paranoia signaled a "turning inward" that would hinder trade and deflate economies. Maybe back channel corporate pressure will restore some common sense in Washington and the markets will calm down.

If only the fantasy of "hired mobs" were true: the protests have been so large they'd eliminate all unemployment problems (!)

The winter heating season is toast. Forecasts for February are turning warmer. January was a warm month. IMO there will be NO WEATHER related price event on NG. Those forecasters who have screamed fire in the theater should simply go away. Any individual cold spells are now too late to worry winter availability.

After shoulder season we will see what the summer supply and demand balance is.
