Ring Energy (REI) is reporting horizontal wells in the San Andreas formation in the Permian's Central Basin Uplift area that have outstanding well level economics. HZ SA wells are much cheaper because the San Andreas is a sandstone. They frack the wells, but do not require all the sand used in other deeper formations.
