Last summer, natural gas demand for power generation spiked way above the 5-year average from mid-July through the end of August.
In May, 2016 natural gas used for power generation was 24-25 Bcf per day
In July & August it was 35-40 Bcf per day, with a big spike the last week of July.
If demand increases by 10 Bcf per day this year, we should see several weeks of draws from storage.
