I have been told that the server our Forum is on has been having updates this week; maintenance that causes the server to go down for short periods. I believe the updates are now supposed to start taking place at night, to limit the interruption to service.
The Forum server is different than the one used for the main EPG site so that both won't be down at the same time.

From our technical support team leader: "Since the forum uses a different platform than the main EPG website, we have it hosted somewhere completely different. That provider of ours is having some difficulty with their server. We are currently looking for a new place to host the forum to prevent future interruptions."
