I read that Maduro purged all the big names in the Venezuelan oil industry this week, ostensibly for corruption. What can this mean? Is he likely to turn it over to Russia or China? I heard that they were both making overtures.

Venezuela crude oil production is on decline and you can expect that to continue for quite sometime. The country is a hell hole.
