Per the state reports, this is actual U.S. oil production:
During this cycle, U.S. oil production dipped to the low point in Q3 2016
Average Daily Production for each quarter:
Q3 2016 = 8,651,511 barrels per day
Q4 2016 = 8,811,935
Q1 2017 = 8,990,478
Q2 2017 = 9,098,857
Q3 2017 = 9,291,467 < September is the last month of actual data. September production was reported to be 9,481,000.
Yesterday the EIA reported that U.S. oil production was 9,780,000 barrels per day.
When I updated my database, I saw that all of the actual monthly production numbers for each month since 2015 had been revised downward since six weeks ago.
The production volume that EIA reported yesterday may be accurate, but we won't know for three months. Based on what I've seen, the EIA weekly numbers have been too high for the last year and a half.
