If you own EOG Resources or Devon Energy (DVN), read this GOOD NEWS carefully:

What's your opinion of DVN which is no longer in the Sweet 16?

I like Devon, but it is not presently a "Growth Company", so I dropped it from the Sweet 16. They should be fine once they get through the final phase of their transition period.

They have a very good position in STACK, but I like CLR and NFX more.

Hopefully the selling will end as we move into the fall and the heating season.

I think the selling will end when we move firmly into "Trump is going to kiss Iran's Ass" season. I think the first hint of the new season started on 9/11.

A cold winter will also help.

As I said at our luncheons this week, it is about time that the civilized world took out the world's leading sponsor of terrorism. Since Europe will never do anything on its own, it is up to the U.S. to lead this effort. Paying another $0.50/gallon for gasoline is a small price to pay if we get rid of Iran's leadership, which has killed hundreds of thousands of people just because they don't go to the right church.

Most of the Iranians that I've met are nice folks and I think they will have a good country after "Regime Change".
