My desktop computer crashed last weekend and Best Buy's "Geek Squad" had to totally wipe out the hard drive and reinstall the operating system. I did have all of my files backed up, including all of the forecast/valuation models. Thank God!
It has been a struggle this week, but with tech support from Sabrina's husband Jeff, we are close to back to normal. We finally got the software used to create my weekly podcast up and running today.
I highly recommend the Geek Squad annual support plan. It has paid for itself many times, primarily because I am an old fart with only basic technical skills.
I also recommend that you keep all of your important files on an external drive.
BTW this has nothing to do with our EPG memberships stuff. That is all in "the cloud" and very secure (at least that is what they tell me). If you have any problems with your EPG account, finding something on the website or posting to the Forum, contact Sabrina. Email her at energyprospectus@gmail.com and she will solve the problem. EPG Cruise stuff is handle by Susan our lovely Cruise Director. EPG Cruise leaves Galveston on February 3rd.
