HCLP
HCLP
The October View From Houston Newsletter was the last time HCLP appeared in the High Yield Portfolio. Therefore it is safe to say it has been quietly dropped. Kindly remember many of us have positions in this based upon several years of information you provided for our consumption.
Re: HCLP
We are going to publish an updated profile on HCLP this month.
I just dropped from the High Yield Income Portfolio because it stopped paying a dividend.
Based on what Laura Fulton said at our March 1st luncheon, I think they will resume dividend payments after they convert to a C-Corp. If so, I will put it back into the portfolio.
In my opinion, Hi-Crush will draw a lot more attention after it converts to a C-Corp. (this quarter). There are lots of funds that cannot invest in MLPs. Plus, there should be a big increase in frac sand demand this summer.
If you own HCLP, I highly recommend that you read our recent profile on Solaris Oilfield Infrastructure (SOI).
