Working gas in storage was 3,606 Bcf as of Friday, October 18, 2019, according to EIA estimates.
This represents a net increase of 87 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 519 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 28 Bcf above the five-year average of 3,578 Bcf.
At 3,606 Bcf, total working gas is within the five-year historical range.
There s/b four more weeks of builds before the "official" start of winter heating season begins.
5-year average storage on November 15 is 3,732 Bcf. Storage capacity is over 4,200 Bcf.
My "SWAG" is that next week's build will be ~65 Bcf.
