In the podcast I show on slide 4 that the Canadian active rig count dropped by more than 30% last week. I did some checking and found out that lots of Canadian companies decided to lay down rigs through the holidays to save a few bucks and give the workers two weeks off. Therefore the active rig count should bounce back in Canada next week.
