In the last six days:
1. Number of cases has grown from 80,289 to 89,198: + 8,909
2. Number of people that have recovered and been released from the hospital has gone from 27,840 to 45,175: + 17,335 < This is GREAT NEWS!
3. Number of people that have died after being diagnosed with COVID-19 as gone from 2,704 to 3,048: + 344

The media is only reporting 1 & 3. Why??????????????

The really important number is the number of "active cases". Just since February 25 the number of active cases has declined by 8,770.

SARS was also a "coronavirus". Genetically it is very close to COVID-19.

Here is a chart showing how SARS cases in Hong Kong started in mid-Feb 2003, peaked in mid-March and were totally gone by May 31, 2003.

SARS disappeared without a vaccine. Healthy people got over it quickly, much like a case of seasonal flu. The number of people getting the seasonal flu (other coronavirus) drops like a rock during the Spring.
