255,305 Confirmed Cases
-87,351 Fully Recovered and released from the hospital
-10,444 Deaths
----------------
157,510 Active Cases < 95% of these are listed as "Mild" and the patients are expected to recover. Many countries are not allowing recovered patients to leave the hospital.
===================
Observations:
> Number of deaths in Italy (3,405) now exceeds the number of deaths in China (3,253)
> Number of people who have fully recovered in China continues to increase much faster than the deaths.
> China's Active Cases has declined from over 42,000 to 6,731 in the last 23 days.
> Spain has now move ahead of Iran in the #3 slot. Italy, Spain and Germany are all in the top five and they account for over half of the increase in confirmed cases this week.
> Significant increase in Confirmed Cases this week is directly related to the significant increase in the number of people being tested. It is not a true indication of how fast the virus is spreading.
China, South Korea and Japan seem to have it under control.
98,865 Confirmed Cases
72,997 Fully Recovered
6,338 Deaths
-------------
19,530 Active Cases < Down over 60% in the last 23 days.
These three Asian countries with much higher population density than the USA are using Chloroquine to treat patients. It is a medication used to prevent and to treat malaria in areas where malaria is known to be sensitive to its effects. France has give Chloroquine to 40 patients and they all recovered within a few days.

I am updating the COVID-19 spreadsheet twice a day on the EPG website. You can view it on the website or download it to Excel on your computer.
I am most encouraged by fact that some countries with higher population density and lower standards of health care seem to have virus under control.
