Hurricane Delta will hammer Lake Charles, LA at 6PM

Pray for the folks in Lake Charles.

That small town got hammered by Laura and the eye of Hurricane Delta is headed directly for Lake Charles as I post this. Many homes just recent go power back. Storm surge along the coast will be extremely damaging. Only good news is that the storm is moving very fast, so rain totals won't as bad as expected yesterday.

Like Laura, Delta is likely to do serious damage the homes of many offshore workers. This will delay getting crews back into the GOM to restore production.

I spent over an hour in a 100 mph storm once and it is a frightening experience. It feels like the home is going to explode.
