Commodity Up, Producers down

As I write this , NG is up 4.6 cents 1.8 % and most NG producers are down on the day, although they are rallying off their lows.

In fact , there has been a disconnect for the last 2 weeks , with some names down 25 % or more.

Whats going on, anyone have an idea? Bidens taxes? Biden's mental condition?

Higher oil prices are now seen as a negative for the "gassers" because traders think more associated gas from Permian Basin oil wells will over-supply the natural gas market again. There is some truth to that concern, but not close to what it was in 2018 & 2019. Upstream oil companies are NOT going to significantly increase their drilling programs because the Wall Street Gang will punish any of them at do. Wall Street wants to see debt paid off, dividends and stock buyback programs. So do I.
