Cimarex Investors May Expect Higher Offer, KeyBanc Says

(Bloomberg) -- Cimarex Energy (XEC) shares are trading at close
to a 7% premium to the implied offer price from Cabot Oil & Gas,
therefore the market may be expecting a better offer, KeyBanc
analyst Leo Mariani wrote in a note.
* KeyBanc sees neutral reaction for XEC shares after the S-4
merger proxy, which notes XEC spoke to five other counterparties
* NOTE: June 15, Cimarex Downgraded at UBS on Uncertainty Around
Cabot Oil Deal
