EOG-Maintain a hold???

I was scrathing my head as EOG was one of the few in the red today.

Just saw a comment that JP Morgan analyst is maintaining a hold? WTF?

Is there anything else?

My current valuation is $120/share.

In the last 3 months, 19 ranked analysts set 12-month price targets for EOG. The average price target among the analysts is $102.42.

Price Target Revisions in August:

8/9/2021: John Gerdes at MKM Partners rates it a Buy with a price target of $113.00 < IMO John Gerdes is an outstanding energy sector analyst.

8/9/2021: Arun Jayaram at J.P. Morgan rates it a Hold with a price target of $95.00

8/5/2021 Scott Hanold at RBC Capital rates it a Buy with a price target of $105.00

Keep in mind that each analyst is forced to use the official commodity price deck of their firm. EOG is trading at $69.14 at the time of this post, so Arun's HOLD with his $95 price target doesn't make any sense to me either. Welcome to the wacko world of the Wall Street Gang.
