Talos Energy (TALO) Update - August 24

Post by dan_s »

I finished updating our profile on Talos Energy this afternoon. It will be posted to the EPG website this afternoon.

TALO closed today at $10.83

The company is on track to generate $466 million of operating cash flow ($5.70/share) and $100 million of free cash flow in 2021. If Talos' realized oil price is $62/bbl in 2022 they should generate $710 million of operating cash flow ($8.60/share) in 2022.

My current valuation of $30.00/share includes a "risk adjustment" since we are in the middle of hurricane season.

It rallied hard today. I’m wondering if traders think the Pemex fire helps them with so much of their production offline. This shows Mexico needs Talos , badly.

It's amazing how politicians screw themselves and their countries with lame policies.

Most politicians are idiots. I used to think you had to have a high IQ to be a senator or the president. Not anymore. You just need to be able to lie with a straight face. Our Federal Government is broken. They control $Trillions and it has corrupted the whole gang in Washington. The average middle school child could have come up with a better exit strategy from Afghanistan. Does anyone with a brain think that giving Iran a clear path to weapons grade uranium is a good idea?\

Back to TALO. The Company is a lot more than just the Zama Field. Read the profile carefully and take a hard look at my forecast for 2022.
