U.S. should avoid a recession

Some will argue that we are now in a recession (it sure feels like it) but the stats show the U.S. is showing some signs of improvement and that an official recession may be avoided. Canada is showing strong improvement.

I believe that the energy sector could lead a strong recovery in the U.S. What if the government would quit trying to prop up "green energy" that will never work anyway? What if we'd all focus on making natural gas a much bigger part of our energy supply? Natural gas is clean, we have a lot of it and it works (unlike solar and wind). Plus, NG could be used directly as a transportation fuel and help reduce our oil imports.
