New York

Post by dan_s »

I am in New York for the National Eagles and Angels Association meeting tomorrow (10/18) at The 21 Club.

All EPG members get in FREE. There is still room. Send me an e-mail if you want to attend: dmsteffens@comcast.net or call Rita Karpel with NEAA at 832-663-2688.

I will be the opening speaker, talking about the global oil market and commenting on five of my favorite stocks. There are two small-cap firms that will also be making presentations at the luncheon. One is an energy company that looks very good to me.

If you cannot make the luncheon, just stop by Copia NYC from 5-7 for a drink. Free drinks and food provided by NEAA.

Dan: Would like to be there with you but my wife said 'No' to me being there--'she needs more notice before she considers loosening the noose a bit.

For those who can't make it, would you please mention the five names you've mentioned many times to us before.

PS. Great call on BEXP; congratulations are in order for what you do for us. I feel there's more coming.

The five I will recommend tomorrow are:
> GeoResources (GEOI)
> Patterson (PTEN)
> MIND
> ROSE
> TGA

IMO MIND is as close to a sure thing as you can get. Q3 will be rock solid and Q4 will be even better.

I just got back to Sugar Land from NYC. New York is a fun place to visit but I sure don't want to live there. Too many darn people.

The NEAA luncheon was well attended, about 80. Lots of political stuff but they seemed quite interested in what I had to say about oil & gas.

NEAA is going to host a luncheon for us in Houston on November 8. All EPG members get in FREE so you should definitely attend if you can. You can register on our website. Login then click on the Calendar Tab. Just click on the event and you are all set.
