Forecast Updates

Post by KGardiner »

Hi Dan,

I know this is an incredibly busy time for you. I was hoping to see the updated quarterly 2022 forecast models for PXD, DVN and TALO, but since they are no longer in the Sweet 16, there are no website links to these models from either the High Yield page or the Small Cap page. Also FYI, the MGY, MTDR and NOG forecast models can only be reached from the Small Caps page.

All Great Stuff and very much appreciated!

Dan, One more question:

I noticed that for the 2022 Full Year Forecast CFPS, for most of the companies you have completed quarterly estimates on so far, the Full Year CFPS is the sum of the quarterly numbers. However, for OVV, LPI, CTRA and CRK the Full Year number seems to be some sort of trendline projection. Perhaps related to this anomaly is that these 4 stocks also do not have a Q1 2022 Forecast CFPS.

Is there something special about these 4 companies?

Thanks

Kevin;
Thanks for letting me know. We will get this fixed today.

I just reposted the forecast models for PXD and DVN under the High Yield tab and the TALO forecast under the Small-Cap tab.

Sabrina will fix the Sweet 16 models this afternoon.

Your question about operating cash flow: The First Call operating CFPS numbers don't always add up to the full-year CFPS estimate because some analysts don't provide quarterly CFPS estimates. They just provide an annual estimate. My CFPS estimates should add across unless their is a change in the share count.

Thanks Dan,

The Q1 2022 CFPS for OVV, LPI, CTRA and CRK all look as expected now.

All of the Sweet 16 forecast/valuation models have been extend thru 2023 and they have all been posted to the EPG website. Just log on and click on the Sweet 16 tab.

My next task is to update all of the Small-Cap forecast models.
