I read in the business media, or was it here, that Exxon may have an interest to buy Talos Energy for their plans to engage in carbon sequestration. Did I read that correctly? Is that a plausible idea?
Do you think the Fourth Quarter reoort on February 13 will show only a restoration of prior production or a significant growth in fourth quarter production? Is Talos stuck with low hedges in 2022 or able to enjoy $90 oil?
You would depict their reserves as conventional, but offshore?
Thank you, Have a nice weekend.

Re: Talos
I don't think Exxon will buy Talos.
Talos has already announced Q4 production. Check their press release.
The company's hedges are shown at the bottom of the forecast model.
Talos will have more unhedged production each quarter and they should generate over $9.00/share of operating cash flow in 2022.

Re: Talos
The XOM>TALO idea was just me spitballing on this site. Nothing to be taken seriously.
