What dose this mean for the five year average Nat Gas?
Coal Fired power plants about to close
Re: Coal Fired power plants about to close
Higher coal prices = a higher base price for natural gas
Fewer coal fired power plants = more demand for natural gas.
I am extremely bullish on natural gas and to a slightly lesser extent on NGLs.
Europe has shown the world that wind and solar are bad investments. They are not reliable, and they cannot be a significant percentage of any nation's electricity supply. Natural gas will be the big winner as it is the only scalable & low carbon emissions energy source for electricity except for nuclear, but no one wants a nuke anywhere near their home.
