Her opinion is primarily based on the fact that SilverBow is not paying dividends or buying back stock.
SilverBow is a small-cap that is in aggressive growth mode, which is exactly what it should be doing. Plus, they have just recently closed a transformative couple of acquisitions.
I would much rather have them report strong production growth quarter-after-quarter, all funded by operating cash flow, than pay a tiny dividend. By this time next year, they should have more than enough FCF to pay dividends if they wish.
For a company of this size, it has a ton of running room and it is time to run.
