Continental Resources, Inc. (CLR) reported production of 85,526 Boepd (barrels of oil equivalent per day) for the first quarter of 2012, a 66 percent increase over production of 51,663 Boepd for the first quarter of 2011.
Q1 production came in slightly over my forecast and they are increasing their production guidance. I sure cannot explain why the stock is down this morning. I will update my forecast model after listening to their CC. It won't be posted until this evening since I will be tied up in our luncheon today.
