Joining me on Tuesday's webinar will be Alex Wylie the Company’s President & CEO
Volt Lithium is headquartered in Calgary, Canada.
Volt is focused on creating value for shareholders by becoming North America’s 1st commercial producer of lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide monohydrates from oilfield brine.
• Clear path to production: Near term field unit operations in collaboration with major operator in the Permian Basin, and a fully operational Field Simulation Centre in Calgary, Alberta
• Clear growth stage advantage vs peers, reinforced by targeting of reservoirs with existing infrastructure and brine production, speeding up the commercialization process.
• Key to success: On April 29th Volt closed on a $1.5US million funding for deploying a field unit in the Delaware Basin during the 3rd quarter that is expected to produce lithium hydroxide monohydrate using Volt’s proprietary direct lithium extraction (“DLE”) technology.
Planning is underway for the building of a commercial unit in the Delaware Basin (West Texas) that could produce 100,000 lbs per day of lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide monohydrates from oilfield brine.
It is currently estimated that the Permian Basin produces 10.9 million barrels per day of lithium infused brine per day. Volt's DLE technology could turn oilfield brine from a cost to a profit center.
If you have questions that you want me to ask Alex Wylie, post them here.
