Vital Energy will report earnings Nov. 7

Post by RTaber1 »

What is the consensus earnings estimate?
Dan, what is your estimate?

If Vital meets the consensus or beats it, do you believe it will help the share price, or do shareholders need to wait for a major spike in oil prices
which may, of course, be a long way from now?

What seems to be the hole in the bucket this year?

Consider what has happened to APA’s stock price might shed some light on the aversion to Vital. There seems to be a quality attribute that is absent to observance by a regular investor. I don’t believe the market can be wrong for so long on this one.

TipRanks' forecast is Q3 $1.45 EPS on revenues of $466 million. TipRanks' Adjusted Operating CFPS forecast for Q3 is $6.67.

My forecast is $1.17 EPS and $6.03 CFPS for Q3. For full year 2024 s/b $26.33 operating CFPS.

Vital is a Sweet 16 stock, so you can download the forecast from the EPG website. Take a hard look at the hedges and you will see that it has almost zero oil price risk in 2H 2024.
