Lows in the teens and heavy snow in Eastern Ohio and Southwest Pennsylvania will cause lots of well freeze off in Appalachia (Marcellus and Utica Shales). In addition to a SIGNIFICANT INCREASE in demand for space heating, the reduced supply will cause a BIG (maybe over 300 Bcf) draw from U.S. natural gas storage the week ending January 10th.

Winter Storm Blair is just the first of three cold waves driving all the way to the Gulf of Mexico.
