For the few that are still worried about Global Warming

Post by dan_s »

I just saw a report that:
> Artic Ice is at normal
> Antartica Ice is above normal
> Greenland Ice is above normal
> The Atlantic Ocean is now ~2 degrees cooler than a year ago.

Why isn't this Great News being reported?

Dan, what is your source for -2.0 F or C cooler ocean temperatures? Did you misplace the decimal point? On what are the ice data based?

Ocean temperature
The BerkeleyEarth chart (see below) indicates a drop of -0.15% C in ocean temperatures between April 2024 and April 2025.

The Copernicus website from the European Commision is reporting a similar -0.15 C drop:
"Sea surface temperature - The average sea surface temperature (SST) for April 2025 over 60°S–60°N was 20.89°C, the second-highest value on record for the month, 0.15°C below the April 2024 record.. SSTs remained unusually high in many ocean basins and seas. Among them, large areas in the northeast North Atlantic continued to show record-high SSTs for the month. Most of the Mediterranean Sea was much warmer than average, but not as record-breaking as in March."

Ocean temperatures are like stocks - they do not go up or down in a straight line.

Ice data
The data I have seen from NASA indicate that arctic ice still is shrinking. See below.

The NASA data are based on satellite-based data records, started in late 1978.
Sea ice extent is the integral sum of the areas of ll grid cells with at least 15% ice concentration, while sea ice area is the integral sum of the product of ice concentration and area of all grid cells with at least 15% ice concentration. The dashed vertical line indicates the date of the latest plotted and mapped data.

FEAR Mongering of Climate Change has been going on for decades.

Melting Sea Ice has no impact on the rising oceans. As long as the ice covering Greenland does not melt, the sea level will stay about the same.

As long as the polar bear population keeps growing, I believe humans have nothing to worry about.

I believe in "Climate the Same", which includes violent weather from time-to-time.

FEAR will continue to be used by the Elites to control their subjects, which they view as "cattle".
