This is a good analysis of what is going on.

LINE should benefit from an improving North American natural gas market. I believe we will see $5.00/mcf by year-end.

Also, as pointed out in the article above, LINE is going to paying dividends monthly. This will make it more painful to be short the units.

BTW I really liked Berry Petroleum, so I view that deal as a plus for LINE.

If Linn is hedged out for the next 5 years, then the price of natural gas should not be a major factor (of course, I could be wrong on that), I would think the propelling aspect would be how successful their production output will be. Many of the royalty trusts are having underwhelming production results. Let's hope Linn has a better handle on their producing fields.
