Forum Upgrade Update

Post by dan_s »

We have upgraded to the latest phpBB version for our Forum section. So far, it appears to be working better for me.

This new version does not provide the link to go back to website, so we made it open up a new website link when you click on the Forum Tab from our website (www.energyprospectus.com)

The Form will be open in a new tab, so viewer can go back and forth to the EPG website.

oh, i understand now--sorry for being slow. for those other slow guys, if there are any, here's the deal.

"The Form will be open in a new tab, so viewer can go back and forth to the EPG website."

the new tab is a new browser tab. while that works it is going to eat up more memory in your computer.

do smart phones have tabs?

I think it will be best to save a favorite URL and just go to the site when you desire.
Not as slick as before but I am getting use to these work arounds in my old age.

yeah, and its actually easier to just erase all but energyprospectus.com in the browser address and hit enter to go back to home page. i don't like opening aan extra tab.
