Working gas in storage was 3,487 Bcf as of Friday, September 27, 2013, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 101 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 155 Bcf less than last year at this time and 49 Bcf above the 5-year average of 3,438 Bcf.
Increase is slightly above analysts expectations, so bearish.
First named winter storm moving across the upper Midwest should draw some attention this week.
I think gas will hang around the $3.50 range until we see some real winter weather.
