CPE Preferred Stock for High Yield

NATCHEZ, Miss., Dec. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Callon Petroleum Company (CPE) ("Callon" or the "Company") today announced that it has declared a cash dividend of $1.25 per share, on its 10.0% Series A Cumulative Preferred Stock ("Series A Preferred Stock"). The dividend will be paid on December 29, 2017 to stockholders of record as of December 15, 2017. The Series A Preferred Stock is currently listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "CPE.A."

Dan - one issue with CPE-A that subscribers need to consider is the earliest call date, 5-30-18. One would suspect Callon would call the preferred quickly, so yield to call should be considered as part of a buying decision. Rgds.
