Dallas: VERY COLD + SNOW on Christmas Day

Susan and I will be driving up to Dallas on Christmas Eve, so I'm keeping an eye on the weather forecast for North Texas. It now appears we may want to leave a day or two early because a major cold wave is going come right down the middle of the country late next week with temperatures in the teens in Dallas + several inches of snow in the forecast.

Note that a "Polar Vortex" is heading to the Great Lakes Region. If so, there will be a big draw from natural gas storage the last week of this year.
