HURRICANE MICHAEL WILL BE A CAT 3 OR 4 WHEN IT HITS FLORIDA ON WEDNESDAY MORNING.
See daily update here: https://www.weatherbell.com/premium/
This storm has gotten a lot stronger than expected and it will cause a lot of damage. Winds up to 120 MPH will cause waves in the Gulf of Mexico up to 100 feet high. Lots of offshore platforms must be evacuated and lots of production will be shut in. Winds and waves this intense can cause severe damage to offshore platforms.
Oil tankers will stay away, which means EIA's report for the week ending October 12th should show a big drop in oil inventories.
If any of you live in the Florida panhandle area, you should evacuate. Cat 3 winds are "killers".
