Newsletter - Jan 2

Post by dan_s »

I've started working on the next edition of The View From Houston newsletter. My goal is to publish it on January 2nd.

Step one is going over each of the individual company forecast/valuation models for companies in our three model portfolios. I will be double checking the models for a Small-Cap Growth Portfolio companies on December 30 and all of the Sweet 16 on December 31. As I update each spreadsheet model, I post them to the EPG website. To view them you must log onto the website and scroll down a bit to see the most recent updates. The 16 most recent updates can be viewed directly from the home page. Or you can click on the tabs at the top of the home page to go to the Sweet 16, High Yield and Small-Caps to find our recent profiles and forecast models for each company.

You can view the forecast/valuation models directly from the website or download them to Excel. They are all macro driven models, so once you download them to Excel you can change the production and commodity price assumptions at the bottom to see how they impact earnings, cash flow and stock valuations.

The valuations for the "gassier" companies will be coming down a bit, but my valuations are still way above where the stocks are trading today.
